CLASSROOM LIBRARY SUPPORT

We’re adding a little RAZZLE DAZZLE to our local classrooms, focusing on Title-1 Elementary, grades K-3rd.

When asked about the importance of reading, a local elementary principal said,

“A good classroom can have hundreds of books, but an even better question is, ‘Is the teacher’s classroom library a window into the lives of their students?’”

Local administrative staff, teachers and media specialists compiled a list of book recommendations to browse and shop.

Drop-Off Hours: Every Monday-Friday, 10:00am-3:00pm

New & used conditions accepted. All books will be approved by administration before placement in classrooms.

EVENT OUTCOME

2 boxes of new school supplies and over 110 books were donated to new teachers in local title-1 classrooms.

18 outdated and/or non-inclusive books were pulled, preventing further reach to children in public education.
