Who is eligible for COMO FLAIR services?

COMO FLAIR serves students of Columbia Public Schools through the assistance of Home School Communicators.

Sponsor students district wide via cash, check, or CashApp to Spread Your Wings, a local 501(c)(3) organization: $spreadyourwingsLLL

Include memo “COMO FLAIR” with all donations.

We’ve created an efficient, 100% accessible program to serve students on school grounds, during school hours. Through this program, hair professionals provide 5 haircuts, or 1 protective style during a 3-hour event. Currently, events take place each May before graduation ceremonies.

Donations provide hair professional compensation and service supplies such as hair products & tools, disinfectant spray, disposable capes, accessories, clothing and shoes.

Licensed hair professionals are invited to participate in program training and 3-hour events on school grounds. Time commitment is flexible and pays $20-$30 per hour.
